PROJECT PLANNING
Start with a Clear Project Brief
USEFUL TO KNOW
A Better Project Enquiry
Provide the details that help our team understand your requirements and prepare a useful reply.
What is the difference between a product enquiry and an OEM / ODM enquiry?
For product sourcing, name an existing series and describe the configuration and quantity you need. For an OEM / ODM project, explain the concept, intended user, target market and which design decisions are already fixed. Select the relevant enquiry type and include these details in the project brief.
Which information is needed to discuss price and delivery?
Include the model or concept, estimated quantity, destination and required timing. Add materials, colours, functional options and packing requirements where known. If a detail is undecided, say so; an indicative discussion and a confirmed quotation depend on different levels of specification. Ask the team to identify assumptions in its reply.
Can I request samples, specifications or test documents?
Use the project brief to identify the exact model and configuration, then list the documents or samples needed for your evaluation. Ask about current availability, any sample charges and the applicable scope of test reports or certificates. A product-page reference should be checked against the configuration you intend to order.
How should I ask about warranty or spare parts?
Provide the model, purchase channel and, for an existing order, the order reference and a description of the issue. For a new project, request the warranty terms, exclusions and spare-parts arrangements before ordering. The applicable after-sales policy should be confirmed for the product and market.
