FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Products & Samples
Build a useful shortlist and define what you need to evaluate.
Does OASYS supply its own products or develop furniture for other brands?
OASYS does both. Founded in Taiwan in 1992, OASYS develops office and home furniture collections and works with global brands through OEM / ODM. For an existing-product enquiry, identify the series and configuration. For a development project, explain the concept, target user and market, and which design or production requirements you need the team to review.
How should I compare models and configurations?
Start with the intended activity and required adjustments, then compare the specification for the exact version. Aria combines a mesh back with an upholstered seat, adjustable lumbar support and synchro recline. SIM has separate task and guest specifications. Cross provides folding-seat nesting and multiple configuration options. Use the model pages and reference sheets to build a shortlist, and confirm the selected options in your enquiry.
Can I request a sample before placing an order?
Use the contact form to name the model, configuration and destination, and explain whether you need to evaluate function, finish or a development concept. Ask the team to confirm sample availability, any fees, shipping arrangements and the expected preparation time for that request. Review the sample against the agreed specification, materials and functional requirements before treating it as the basis for an order.

Development & Quantities
Separate existing options from new development and clarify your production brief.
Which customisation options are available?
Available options depend on the product and project. Cross offers seat and back finish alternatives, arm or armless versions, casters or glides, and accessories such as a tablet or basket. Separate those published options from a request for a new component or design. Provide drawings, finish references and functional requirements so feasibility, development work and any tooling needs can be discussed.
What should an OEM / ODM brief include?
Describe the intended user, use environment, target market, estimated quantity and required timing. Add concept drawings or reference products, target dimensions, material and finish preferences, adjustment features and the documents your buyer needs. Identify which requirements are essential and which can be developed with the team. This gives the project discussion a clear basis for design, sampling and manufacturing review.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Request the minimum order quantity for the exact model and configuration you intend to buy. Include the estimated total and any split between colours, materials or variants. A published loading quantity describes a shipping reference; it does not establish an MOQ. For a development project, distinguish the sample request from the planned production quantity and ask for the applicable ordering conditions.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Orders, Documents & Support
Confirm the schedule, product evidence and arrangements for your own order.
How is the delivery schedule confirmed?
Provide the product or concept, quantity, configuration, destination and required arrival date. Ask for the expected sample or production schedule and clarify whether the quoted timing refers to production completion, dispatch or arrival. The schedule should be confirmed for the selected configuration, materials and production requirements.
Which quality or test documents should I request?
Identify the exact model, components and destination market. Aria, Cross and Ultimate product information includes ISO 9001 and BIFMA references. Request the current certificate and relevant product test reports, then check the organisation, site, validity, standard edition and tested configuration. A quality-management certificate and a furniture performance test address different evidence, so review their respective scope rather than treating one as a substitute for the other.
What should I confirm about packing and export?
Ask for the packing method, assembly state, carton dimensions, weights and loading information for the selected configuration. Include the destination and identify any labelling or document requirements for your purchasing process. Model loading quantities are useful planning references, while the shipment plan should use the agreed product mix and current packing information. Confirm the delivery terms and allocation of freight arrangements in the quotation.
How should I ask about warranty, replacement parts or after-sales support?
For a planned purchase, request the warranty terms, coverage, exclusions, claim process and replacement-part availability for the model and market. For an existing order, provide the purchase reference, model, relevant photos and a description of the issue or part needed. These details help the team identify the product and respond to the specific request. Confirm the applicable terms in writing; this page does not state a standard warranty duration.
Where can I obtain specifications, assembly instructions and care information?
Use the Resources page to obtain product reference sheets and request documents for your selected model. For assembly instructions, material-specific care guidance, certificates or project drawings, identify the model and configuration and name the documents you need. If you are requesting information for an existing purchase, add the order or purchase reference so the request can be matched to the correct product.
